I wrote an Education Report Release Plan for Beacon Center of Tennessee, a state think tank promoting free market principles. The education report details how Tennessee’s taxpayer dollars for education aren’t used as wisely as they should be. The release plan is what I, as an intern, thought could be a good approach to spreading the word about the new report.
This press release was an example of an announcement we would send out to students’ hometowns in the case that they were honored with the invitation to be in a new honor society on Lipscomb’s campus.
The next three materials were created for Harvest Hands Community Development Center. I volunteered there for three months in Fall 2017, so their mission is very near and dear to my heart. (Note: these are examples I made for class).
The media advisory was to let the media know that Harvest Hands was having an anniversary dinner with Ben Carson in attendance as the keynote speaker.
As the social media intern for Lipscomb’s Admissions department, I was able to utilize what I had learned from that position in my class to develop this social media content map for Harvest Hands.
This fact sheet is again for Harvest Hands and details who they are and what they do. It tells the “why” behind their “what”.
Within my Public Relations Writing class at Lipscomb, I partnered up with another student to start our own Public Relations firm, No Moore Blues. Throughout the semester, we created everything from ads to newsletters for a nonprofit in the Nashville community. Below are four of the works that we designed and wrote together.
The brochure and the double-sided card ad were both created for Foundations Christian Academy, a homeschool tutorial in the Nashville area.
This is a client proposal for Thistle Farms that we made for class, but is a model for what it would look like for us to revamp their Magdalene Program so they could take in more women who are recovering from abuse and trafficking.
And finally, here is a speech that we wrote for the director of Foundations Christian Academy to give at a meeting of the Middle Tennessee Home Education Association.
As the social media intern for Lipscomb’s Admissions Department, I have designed countless posts for their various platforms.
